johnsbrewhouse Now that is interesting. I have never tried Cream. I thought you always pretty much had to use a harder type like Cheddar, Provolone, Gouda, etc.

calldoctoday got to keep the temperature low. I put it on a piece of foil, get smoke on one side, then flip it. The Amazen Maze or tubes work well as long as you separate them away from the cheese. Once you have it smoke, put it in the fridge to cool, the I wrap it in deli wrap and put it in a zip loc to mellow a bit.

johnsbrewhouse Thanks for the tip.

Deepwoodsbutcher I have some similar issues like that in the past too. Those pesky darn computers when they act up…

Not sure if anyone is monitoring this thread anymore, but noticed today when looking through the Walton’s seasoning pages, I can no longer see the reviews people have written. It’s just kind of a blank box after a section where you can leave a question.

Denny O How dare him to go on vacation.
That’s how you know who the critical staff at a company are. When those folks leave town, the wheels fall off of everything.

processhead So I’m new to the site and Kyle’s buddy who was with him yesterday for “meat making morning” and am unable to post any replys at all. So far this is the only topic I have looked at that has given me the reply icon. Anyone with any similar problems? Or any helpful tips to troubleshoot this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You won’t see any of the control icons until you move your cursor under the area where the text ends in a posting. The rest of the time the control icons are invisible
This is a new “feature” that came with the recent web site upgrade. -

processhead That’s a truth that few in any company want to acknowledge.

Denny O Clasko2 Reviews are fixed now.
processhead I’m going to see if we can remove the hover effect so it just displays all the time…
-
processhead Fixed the reply and action icons from hiding by default. No hover required. They should display all the time now!

Yes, the icons are visible as long as your cursor is in the center region of the screen where the post entry and editing all takes place.
If the cursor is moved to the far right or far left menu columns, the posting icons disappear, which should not be a problem for most folks.
Thanks, I think this will help those who were confused with the way it worked before. -

processhead They are visible all the time now, at least for me. There are some things that I see will go away after I take my meds.
