So, I don’t know how many people got the chance to join us today but we launched the new waltons.com! No more waltonsinc.com, though that will still work as we have forwarded all of the pages and products. Aside with some email password issues that Austin fixed like a straight up “g” it went fairly smooth!
This thread is where we would ask that people report issues to. For the first few days I will try to check it every few hours or so. But guys, I gotta say, I’m feeling soooo much better about this platform. We can actually fx things ourselves, when I tell it to do something it actually does it! Coupons are a breeze (and the 2nd best state post will have an update tomorrow if not tonight)
If it continues to be smooth we will start actually putting out meat processing videos again!!
Thank you all for hanging with us through the last year. It was not smooth and it was often no fun but you guys took over meatgistics and helped eachother out. I will now aggressively wrestle control back from you all with bans, deleting of post counts, abuse, shadow banning and all around acting like the diminutive dictator I have always felt like I was meant to be!

Jonathon What about the first best state? I was there if you apparently revealed it today, but could not hear, no captions, & I was trying to get some deadlines out at the same time, so that was not all your fault. I hope that when the pass word & account e-mail starts working again that my shopping list is still in there for things I had on the menu. Thank YOU for all that you do.

For what I was going by, which was number of orders, it was MO, Austin wanted to do it by money. That makes sense because I’m a people person and he likes money…obviously kidding! I will post a coupon to that thread in the next 24 hours for everyone to use.

Jonathon I dont know if other people are having this issue but I have to keep resigning into meatgistics. Both on my phone and laptop.

Jonathon I tried logging in to my account to go to past history purchases for cost checking and it wouldnt let me in, saying incorrect password or sign in name. So I had to reset password. Now it’s saying i have not purchased anything. That’s a bummer. Tried this Sunday night 4/3/22

Jonathon I can no longer post pictures like I have always done. I get an error message that says image file not supported. I tried doing it from my laptop and my phone. get the same error on both

When I was helping kyle post pictures I took the .jpg files he sent me and got the same error message when I tried to post them.
I opened/viewed the files and the pictures looked normal and were 1.5 Mb sized jpegs.
I saved the picture files under a different name and after doing that was able to post them with no problem or error messages. Not sure what that means exactly? Maybe someone else does.

Jonathon I ordered all my goodies yesterday, thought it was strange when I didn’t get a shipment notification. As y’all usually have orders fulfilled very quick, so I double checked my order status. Well it has already shipped, but that email came through. I don’t know if that has been an issue with the new switch over.

twilliams All order history is currently being imported, not just from the previous website but from the website before that, so you should be able to see everything you have purchased form us in the last 5 or 6 years in the next day or two.

kyle sent me two jpeg files. I renamed them while keeping them as a jpeg. After renaming them, they posted with no errors. -

I just learned my pw has been reset when I tried to order, couldnt, wasted 15 min, called customer service. Here is why: I have NEVER tried to access waltonsInc store by typing the address into a web browser… so I never received your pop up message, “All passwords were reset on March 31st, 2022 during our migration to a new website and platform. Please use the reset password link if you have not created a new password since March 31st, 2022.”Instead, I found Waltons via Meatgistics videos, I click on a link on my mobile phone for Meatgistics. If I want to place an order, I’ve used the Meatgistics drop down menu to browse Waltons products<<<< which never gives me your email reset notice!
Recommend you publicise this reset more, I’ve read all your website update posts and blogs and never saw it. Also recommend you put that notice where guys coming from meatgistics menu find it. You recently said over 50% of users were on mobile devices, that means most using meatgistics or meatgistics app, so my experience is not fringe or unique, >50% users will be subjected to this unknown PW reset runaround without getting the explanatory notice.
P.s. you always say “upper right” on your posts and vids describing the menu, but this is how it actually looks, it is on upper LEFT as the default position. There is a checkbox on profile settings to move it to the right, but LEFT is the starting nirmal default… just so you don’t confuse folks and cause them to click everything on right side of their app looking for what you keep mentioning… thx!

I knew the changes were underway, but did not realize the level of effort and the compressed timetable you all were working under. Congrats to all involved on getting it up and running. The remaining bugs will eventually get worked out.

Grimpuppy ok, good to know, wish I’d watched that livestream but was working. I’d bet less than 1% of all users logged in to watch a website update livestream? That’s good they mentioned it there, but with full access to waltons ordering via Meatgistics app or webpage, and >50% users being mobile so likely to be using meatgistics, making the note pop up somehow for THOSE users to help avoid the frustration I just went thru would be a great move towards maintaining customer satisfaction. And avoiding a bunch of unnecessary Customer Service calls and interactions. I don’t think anyone could argue that I wasn’t one of the most involved customers over last 3 weeks, I’ve read every single new post without fail. If it can still bite ME with that level of involvement, it will bite others. I’m just giving feedback to help Waltons improve their transition and ID issues, like they asked.
